Cupola Extension Base 42" Shiplap Base

A Extension Base for Cupolas is needed when
you don't have a standard roof pitch. A good rule of thumb in selecting
the right size cupola is 1 1/4 inch of cupola roof for every foot of
unbroken roofline. The key is the unbroken roofline measurement.
All Cupolas (Except Castle Cupolas) come
standard to fit up to a 10/12 pitch roof. An extension base is required
to fit a roof greater than a 10/12 pitch. Castle Cupolas come standard
to fit up to a 12/12 pitch roof. An extension base is required to fit a
roof greater than 12/12 pitch. Follow guidelines below for extension
base requirements.
Extension Bases Details For All Cupolas
(except Castle Cupolas)
For up to and including a 10/12 roof pitch,
no Extension Base is required. For a 12/12 roof pitch, 1 Extension Base
is required. For a 14/12 roof pitch, 2 Extension Bases are required .
Extension Bases for Castle Cupolas:
For up to and including a 12/12 roof pitch,
no Extension Base is required. For a 14/12 roof pitch, 1 Extension Base
is required. For a 16/12 roof pitch, 2 Extension Bases are required .
For example: 1.25” of cupola roof x 24’
