It is specially coated with a chemical resistant polymer to resist staining from chlorine. HPI IMP oval cover is 30% lighter and 50% stronger than other covers with a higher tear and puncture resistance and superior seam strength. This above ground blue and black winter cover will stay grounded with reinforced nylon loops, a coated cable and metal winch. The cover is only swimming pool winter cover which offers UV blocking inhibitors and the highest quality heat absorbing outer layer. Our big 4-foot overlap keeps the cover on the pool instead of in the water and the black underside of the cover retards algae growth.
