The initial treatment is 3 ounces per 5,000 gallons of pool water and for maintenance add 5 to 6 ounces per 1 pound of chlorinating product. This is not a shock, yet you will no longer need to shock your pool. No Mor Problems Preventative Algaecide is a patented formula that is registered as an E.P.A. algaecide.
